Chinese Train that Never Stops

Stopping and accelerating again at each station will waste both energy and time. But in this brilliant new Chinese train innovation No time is wasted- get on & off the bullet train without the train stopping. The bullet train is moving all the time.

A mere 5 min stop per station (elderly passengers cannot be hurried) will result in a total loss of 5 min x 30 stations or 2.5 hours of train journey time!

How it works (view the movie):

1. To board the train : The passengers at a station embarks onto to a connector cabin way before the train even arrives at the station. When the train arrives, it will not stop at all. It just slows down to pick up the connector cabin which will move with the train on the roof of the train.

While the train is still moving away from the station, those passengers will board the train from the connector cabin mounted on the train’s roof. After fully unloading all its passengers, the cabin connector cabin will be moved to the back of the train so that the next batch of outgoing passengers who want to alight at the next station will board the connector cabin at the rear of the train roof.

2. To get off the train: As stated after fully unloading all its passengers, the cabin connector cabin will be moved to the back of the train so that the next batch of outgoing passengers who want to alight at the next station will board the connector cabin at the rear of the train roof. When the train arrives at the next station, it will simply drop the whole connector cabin at the station itself and leave it behind at the station. The outgoing passengers can take their own time to disembark at the station while the train had already left. At the same time, the train will pick up the incoming embarking passengers on another connector cabin in the front part of the train’s roof. So the train will always drop one connector cabin at the rear of its roof and pick up a new connector cabin in the front part of the train’s roof at each station.

Concept Car That is Car, Helicopter and Boat

If someone asks what this vehicle should be called, it’s a sheer fun vehicle with go anywhere capacity. The brainchild of UK based concept designer, Philip Pauley, the Halo Intersceptor concept can morph into a jet, a helicopter, or a boat. All you need to do is slip on some extra parts and poof.

The Halo Intersceptor is part Doc Brown-edition flying DeLorean, part Centauri’s car from The Last Starfighter, part Kanye wet dream and works like a Transformer. The concept features gull-wing doors, a top speed of a 311-mile-per-hour, gets a sprint from 0-62mph in 2.3 seconds and has a range of 700 miles. The vehicle comes with base component i.e. car cockpit which the press materials describe as “a four seater USB stick that is designed to outperform any other private vehicle on earth.”

From the cockpit, the occupant can throw one of the three Halo attachments: Halo 120, Halo 46 and Halo 22. Wherein Halo 120 converts the vehicle into a little private jet that can climb 25,890 feet a minute, Halo 46 is a helicopter with a seating capacity for four and Halo 22 is a 36-foot-long powerboat with a race-bred double hull and an engine you can throttle up to 63 knots.

The concept is a pure idle fancy with scant details of how you’d attach all the parts which makes the expectations rare of this vehicle hitting the dealerships anytime soon. However, Halo Intersceptor project is a roadmap for boundary pushing Auto Manufacturers to follow.

Top 10 fastest bikes, hopefully we’ll be impressing the boys with this post. Here is an exhaustive list of top 10 fastest superbikes. We have tried our level best to gather information from various sources, and inter-tallied them. This seems to be a viable answer. Top speed would be considered here under testing driving conditions. 10. Ducati 1098s

The Ducati 1098 is a 1099 cc L-twin sport bike manufactured by Ducati. It was announced on November 8, 2006 for the 2007 model year and replaces the 999. The 1098 makes a manufacturer claimed 160 horsepower, 90.4 ft-lb torque, and weighs 173kg. These figures give the 1098 the highest torque-to-weight ratio of any production sport bike ever made. When it comes to top speed it stands at a difference of 5 mph from BMW. Hopefully it’s quite a safe distance for BMW for few years to come as Ducati might stand at last in top 10 fastest bikes for a while.

The RSV Mille and limited-edition RSV Mille Factory are high performance V-twin powered motorcycles made by Aprilia with a 141 HP 998 cc engine built by the Austrian company Rotax. Occupying 7th place among the top 10 fastest bikes is the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-11/ZZ-R1100 was produced from 1990-2001. It was marketed as the ZX-11 Ninja in North America and the ZZ-R1100 in the rest of the world. This bike held the crown of The World’s Fastest Production Bike for close to a decade with a record top speed of 283 km/h (176 mph). When the bike was introduced in 1990, the nearest production bike top speed was 16 km/h (10 mph) slower and it belonged to the ZX-10, the bike that Kawasaki was replacing with the ZX-11.

In August of 2006 an F4 1000 R was used to set a record for the fastest production class 1000 cc motorcycle of 185 mph (299 km/h) at Bonneville Salt Flats. Yamaha launched the YZF-R1 after redesigning the Genesis engine to offset the crankshaft, gearbox input and output shafts and this “compacting” of the engine yielded a huge dividend in that the total engine length was now very short. The Yamaha YZF-R1 motorcycle, introduced in 1998, was the first significant motorcycle in the true liter class (1,000 cc) “handling arms race” between the Japanese Big Four motorcycle manufacturers (Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha). When introduced, it took the class closer to a true racing motorcycle, and increased the handling capabilities. 4. Honda CBR1100XX Blackbird

Honda CBR1100XX Blackbird was the world’s fastest production motorcycle, after ripping the title away from the legendary Kawasaki ZX-11. Production of the Blackbird began in 1996 and halted in late 2007. The Blackbird was last imported to North America in 2003. The Blackbird was a founding bike in the hyper sport touring niche market. The Kawasaki ZX11 or Honda ST1100 may have been the first. This market has since expanded to include the Suzuki Hayabusa, Kawasaki ZZR1200, Yamaha FJR1300, Kawasaki ZX14 and the redesigned Kawasaki Concours. In the US the CBR1100XX never sold as well as the Suzuki Hayabusa, though its owners all appreciate the smooth elegant lines of the bike and its dual counter balancer shafts which give the Blackbird its exceptional smoothness.
