There are rumors around the world that the products made in china are of low quality and poor standards because in their production they use low quality and cheap material. Yes there are some realities about the fake products being produced in china they may be called counterfeit phones. In many countries Nokia is working with their customs officials they help them to identify counterfeit goods at the port of entry. Then there are some local organizations with whom we are working these are consumer protection bodies and anti counterfeit collaborations to lend to provide them our full support. And we are also making collaborations with other brand manufacturers in the country to fight against this crime and through this coalition they can force government to take severe actions and legislations to fight against these crimes that are related to counterfeiting.
Nokia has also developed a hard line policy with its dealers and distributors and retailers to fight against this counterfeit problem. They also have a dedicated field force which is monitoring on their counterfeit products and the retailers who are selling them. And these retailers can be penalized because they do not receive any rebates, incentives or marketing support. Their license can be cancelled ad nokia`s authorized dealers.
